Ashley Creek Ranch is a working ranch located in the heart of Montana that has operated for over 50 years. This ranch is not a Hollywood version of ranching, and instead will give you the true serenity and beauty of working the land as our ancesters did. Enjoy horeseback riding, fishing in the river and spending your evenings by the campfire.

THE RANCH HOUSE

• It is located 15 miles west of Kalispell, Montana just west of the main barn yards near Kila, Montana.
• Sleeps 13 people in 3 king beds, 2 queens, 1 single pull out sofa in 4 bedrooms
• 3 bathrooms
• Fully functional kitchen
• Large family room and dining room
• House has plenty of extra room and pads for kids and dogs
• Internet, wifi, phone, fax and good cell service at house. Fridge, extra freezer, range, microwave, laundry facilities, RV parking outside (no hook ups), pots and pans and dishes for 18. The TV is old with no service only a large box of old 80 and 90s VHS.
• This is the main ranch house of the still active cattle ranch. The house is the classic early 1900s character ranch house with a large rock fireplace, wood stove in the basement, a big front porch, wood floors that creak and crack, a cellar in the basement and a few birds nesting in the eaves.

• Natures beauty for hiking, camping and mountain biking:
  • 1600 acres of ranch meadows
  • The abandoned Great Northern rail road track high up the cliffs
  • Thousands of acres of timber company/ forest service land all the way to the top of Haskill Mountain 4.5 miles away and 3000 feet above the valley floor.
• Fishing and Kayaking in the creek 150 yards from the house
• Boating at multiple nearby lakes and rivers
• Day trips to Glacier Park, Whitefish Mountain, Bob Marshall Wilderness, Flathead Lake, and Jewel Basin Hiking area.
• Bird watching is highlighted by the bald eagle pair that nest yearly just across the creek.
• Star gazing: the ranch gets true darkness, no light pollution so you can see what all the city folk are missing at night.
• The Ranch House is a great place for fun outdoor family time and games

• $425/ night, 3 night minimum - includes use of full farm house
  • price includes cleaning fee

PLEASE NOTE

• Potential guest should consider that this is a working cattle ranch. Nobody lives onsite, but the main office, shop and operations occur close by. Ranch hands and hay customers regularly come and go throughout the property.
• Expect cow, horse and hay dust to be blowing around.
• The house itself is very comfortable, but it is a true ranch house with classic amenities and decorations; it creeks and cracks with old ranch charm. The kitchen has been updated with all modern features and appliances. 
• This is not a full service guest ranch; horse rides, guided hikes or fishing are not included in the package but could be arranged at the time of setting your reservation.
• Pets are always welcome, but cannot be allowed to chase livestock or wildlife.
